Sylvatex and USDA research published in American Chemical Society

Sylvatex Chief Technology Officer Kristen Aramthanapon and researcher Mark Webb have been published in the American Chemical Society, alongside scientists at the USDA, for their research on the Sylvatex biofuel platform. The study, titled “Small-Angle Neutron Scattering Studies on an Idealized Diesel Biofuel Platform”, measured the size, shape, and stability of micelles using a variety of surfactants, water content, and temperatures. The results will help Sylvatex optimize its biofuel formulations to meet industry standards for stability, cold-flow, and other performance requirements.
