Sylvatex and Trucent (formerly Valicor), who recently entered a Joint Venture Agreement together, have announced that the successful scale up and blending of Sylvatex’s MicroX renewable blendstock from an optimized distillers corn oil (DCO) to free fatty acid (FFA) hydrolysis process. This scale up follows the success of the development, construction and operation of a pilot system that was undertaken as part of the joint development agreement the companies entered in February 2018.
