Future Applications
Once the Sylvatex-optimized platforms are licensed or sold, there are other relevant applications to consider for the microemulsion technology.
- Other Fuel Applications: Our proprietary microemulsion platform makes it possible to add previously-unviable inputs to diesel fuel, such as low-cost ethanol. When combined with other emissions control technologies like catalytic converters, these new multi-input blends could virtually eliminate Particulate Matter emissions from diesel engines.
- Pipelines: Due to the microemulsion’s unique ability to absorb free H2O, it may also have potential as a remedy for water-contamination of fuel reservoirs and pipelines.
- Cosmetics, medicines, etc: The microemulsion can also improve the stability and volatility of chemicals during transportation and storage. Any product that requires emulsion to be shelf-stable could potentially use our microemulsion.
